The need for cross cultural coaching is now much greater:
This is much more than an extension of coaching in one's own country: special skills, relevant diagnostics - and experience - are all needed when coaching across cultures.
We have coached and run team workshops in 17 countries embracing 31 nationalities across the globe.
We use powerful online diagnostics:
International Profiler - this identifies 22 competences and attitudes for tightly focused individual development.
International Trust in Teams Indicator - measures the existing and desired level of trust in teams on 10 factors. Especially valuable with 'virtual' teams across different countries.

"We have seen clear changes in tony's leadership style...his team is responding very well indeed"
(HR director, FMCG)
At a senior level, effective teamwork is crucial to business success, delivering strategic direction, robust decision-making, and, vitally, leadership for the organisation.
Team coaching is like 3-dimensional chess. The coach must be aware of what is happening at every level, and then ensure that the team, and every individual in it, trusts him/her to lead them through the process - balancing confidentiality and disclosure.
We have wide experience, plus processes and tools, to support team development, from evaluation to action. We weave individual and team sessions together to anchor sustained change.
Virtual teams are now a fact of working life, and many span the globe. Some are time-limited - such as project teams; others are on-going. They all face special issues: balancing autonomy and interdependence; differing work and cultural expectations; trust and relationships across global distances and time-zones.
We have a robust, well-tested process to support virtual teams. We use powerful on-line diagnostics, and are adept at 'virtual coaching', as well as face-to-face.

"I am just amazed that Keary Harper grasped so quickly and perceptively the intricacies and nuances of my situation - I simply would not be in my current position without the 'rounding' of their coaching" (Senior partner, legal practice)
Coaching is one of the most powerful ways of developing people and has its greatest effect at the top of an organisation. Directors and senior executives have a huge impact on the performance and culture of any organisation. Coaching this group has high leverage and represents an outstanding return on investment. Coaching sustains real change because it is a programme, not a single event - and provides a framework for life-long development.
We have a range of programmes to reflect the different needs of individuals and teams.
COACH - for executives with more complex issues or broader development needs e.g. strategy shift, culture change or a major promotion.
RADAR - for executives new to their organisation or with a specific issue: a short sharp tightly focussed programme of 2- 4 sessions.
TEAM - for management committees and senior teams - either newly formed or wanting to improve their effectiveness.
CROSS CULTURAL - for executives needing to operate successfully across a range of different cultures.
"Day to day demands and constant executive challenges "fog" the way ahead. coaching has helped provide me with clarity: Clarity of purpose; Clarity of thought; Clarity of perspective and clarity of approach" ( General manager, logistics)
WELCOME
TO KEARY
HARPER LLP
We know that board evaluation has been seen as 'clunky', tick box, and little to do with improving performance. Our approach is outcome and improvement focused, rigorous where it needs to be, whilst being agile and tailored to each company's needs. For some boards, it is an external validation and reinforcement of current good practice: for others it can generate more radical change.
"The support that keary harper has given our whole team both at board and individual level has been invaluable" (CEO, financial services)

Rosemary is an APECS Accredited Executive Coach
For Rosemary, coaching is all about growth: growth of the individual being coached, and growth of their organisation's capability.
Rosemary became convinced about the benefits of coaching at senior executive level when still in corporate life. Since becoming a coach in '94, this conviction has become even stronger.
Each programme gives people the insight into the impact and implications of their style that would be truly difficult to achieve within an organisation, or on an external development programme. Better still, they can then work through what they need to change, and be supported as they do so. "A good coach needs to know when to be robust enough to insist that even the most forceful CEO really confronts their difficult issues. They also need to be supportive when the going gets tough and the individual needs 'a speaking partner' to test and refine new ideas and strategies in complete confidence."
Rosemary's corporate career embraced HR and Strategy. Organisation change - and development - have been constant themes. As divisional director for Human Resources, she helped restructure the Military Aerospace and Defence arm of BAE SYSTEMS. Her last role was as BAE's Corporate Employee Development Director, responsible for the top 400. Tasked with creating Europe-wide management development, she was a management committee member of Euresas, the aerospace business school in Toulouse, and a founder and Council member of NAME, the Network for Aerospace Management in Europe.
Over the last decade Rosemary has coached individuals and teams from most major regions of the World as well as the UK. She also specialises in team coaching. "I get great satisfaction from working with whole teams, helping them understand and resolve collective issues, and then helping each individual to see how they can best contribute to the teams overall success".
Rosemary says, "Each time I start a new coaching programme, I am filled with fresh enthusiasm about the work we will do together. I often meet past clients, and it has been a privilege and pleasure to work with so many talented individuals over the years, and to have played a part in helping them shape their ongoing success."
Rosemary has a husband and 2 teenage children. When not assisting with their homework, or acting as unpaid chauffeur, she enjoys relaxing with her 2 horses. Occasionally, the whole family enjoy time together on their riverboat.
